this is a 127 pages French softcover - Calmann-Levy, Paris. Undated, probably early twentieth century, circa 1912. in French, Illustrated by Louis Strimpl - Size 6.5 x 9.45 inches - The front and back covers are in good condition with some traces of wear and a tiny tear on the bottom border of the front cover+ the spine is a little bit damaged and there is one small loss of paper on each end + The interior is complete and is in Excellent condition with no writings, no stains, no tears, no losses - Scarce and stylishly illustrated edition of one of the three major works of a true science fiction originator, H.G. Wells, offered by Parisian editor-publishers Calmann-Levy. One of the Nouvelle Collection Illustree series of illustrated softbound classics, L'Homme Invisible probably dates from somewhere in the middle of the time period in which most of these installments occurred - roughly between 1895 and 1930.
